On this particular day, however, our appetites led us to The Toad bar, a fantastic establishment known for its friendly ambiance and absolutely amazing pub food. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, recount the day’s adventures, and enjoy hearty, delicious fare in a cozy setting.

My fiancé indulged in a burger of truly epic proportions, a testament to The Toad’s generous servings and commitment to classic comfort food done right. I opted for a personal-sized pizza, but this was no ordinary pizza. Mine was topped with rich, creamy camembert cheese, savory salami, and an intriguing addition: candied green figs.
